Wicked - Musical playing in Toronto (Touring North America) at the Ed Mirvish Theatre .

Dad : Marlon D.  DJ on the weekends,

Franchise owner by day.

Kids : 2 girls, one is 12 the other is 10.

Experience - Wicked the Musical @ Mirvish

1) Why did you decide to see the play ?

A) I kept seeing the ads on the highway and I mentioned it in passing and my kids bought be the ticket for Father;s Days

2) How was it ?

A) As someone who has not see a live play since my 10th grade school trip, I thought it was amazing.

3) What was it like seeing it with the kids?

A) My kids loved the experience of getting on a nice outfit, taking the subway downtown (we saw a matinee) and the play as well.

4) Did they sit through the entire play ?

A) Yes that was not the problem, though it was a little intense at times and my youngest just closed her eyes like she would in a movie.

5) Would you recommend this as an experience for other Dads?

A) I will defeintley recommend it to any Dads who have never tried a live play as it's opened up ideas for other things to do.  I'd also recommend a matinee so that you can figure out what length of show is right for your kids.   Can't wait to see something again.

Imagine Dragons on tour

Dad : Mark. R. Creative Director by day, Myspace user since day 1.

Kids : 1 son who is 13 yrs old

1) How did you decide to go to the concert ?

A) First concert for him with me since we saw 'The Wiggles' 5 years ago.   He had been watching youtube videos of this show for the last month and so I surprised him with lawn seats the day of the concert.  He was excited to say the least

2) How was the experience ?

A) I was a little surprised by how many parents were there with kids of all different ages and I was happy to see that.   The music, the light show and the atmosphere were all amazing.  The band brought their A game to the show and my son loved it.

3) Any recommendations for other Dad's taking their kids?

A) Feed them and hyderate them with stuff through out the concert.  Also, if you are in a lawn section, make sure you pick a point of meeting if people get lost as we realized that we started on one end of the area and ended up (maybe through dancing) in another.

4) Is it worth the money you have to pay for big concerts like these these days.

A) I started going to concerts when I was 15 and so I like the fact that these first few he will go with me to understand the vibe, see his comfort and decided what he likes, so yes.

5) Anything you hated?

A) I hated that I had to explain to my kid that the few people that were intoxicated were simply having a good time and not being rude and obnoxious, even if they were :)

Uncle Drew  (link to the Bleacher Report Feature)

Dad : Luka D.

Business owner with a major love for basketball

Kids : Daughter 8 and Son 10

About : After draining his life savings to enter a team in the Rucker Classic street ball tournament in Harlem, Dax (Lil Rel Howery) is dealt a series of unfortunate setbacks, including losing his team to his longtime rival (Nick Kroll). Desperate to win the tournament and the cash prize, Dax stumbles upon the man, the myth, the legend UNCLE DREW (NBA All-Star Kyrie Irving) and convinces him to return to the court one more time.

1) Did it suck ?

A) No, in fact in was funnier than a lot of films, especially sports movies or ones with athletes

2) Did your kids laugh?

A) Yes a lot, but it got a little weird sometimes because the jokes were a little tired and old, but the action parts were fun and the kids liked that.

3) Was it worth seeing on the big screen or should I wait?

A) My kids liked it.  If you are as big of a basketball fan as my family and you enjoy fun sports films it's fun.  It will be seen again at home at some point I am sure.

4)  Which baller surprised you with his acting skills.

A) Kyrie, and I I won't be surprised if he does more after this film, he looks like he likes the camera.

Uncle Drew releases soon, check your local listings.
