#DadReviews - Wet 'N' Wild, Ant-Man and Wasp, Cedar Point Coasters

Dad Reviews.

Wet and Wild - Toronto, Canada

Dad :   Devon R.  AKA Coach Dev, I.T. Manager by day, coach on the weekend.

Father of 2, Boy is 10 Girl is 7.

Q- This place re opened just last year after  having a makeover, can you see the difference/

A- I saw this place 4 years ago and it is NOT the same at all.  It's clean, the rides are cool, the beech is nice.  I was shocked that it was the same place.

Q- What types of families were there and were your kids the right age to have fun?

A- I went in the middle of a heat wave so it was perfect and busy all at once.  The parking and entrance to the park were easy and my kids went off to enjoy the park on their own.

Q- What did you not like about the experience ?

A- I think we would have stayed longer if it wasn't a heat wave.  Lot's of families came in the afternoon as the day went one so I'd advise parents to come as early as possible.

Q- Would you go back again?

A- Yes, In fact I am planning on having my son and 3 of his friends plan a trip to that park as part of his birthday celebration later this summer.

Q - Any other notes?

A- Yes, you can't bring outside food into the park, so if you pack a picnic make sure it's in a cooler in the car.

Cedar Point - Ohio, USA www.cedarpoint.com

Dad : Tim P. Wanted a road trip that wasn't too far.  Kids 6 and 10.

Q - Isn't this park the 'Roller Coaster capital of the world?'

A - Ya , at least it is billed that way, but I was surprised that their was a lot more to the park than just coasters.

Q- If you were to rate the park from a navigation point of view what would you say?

A- It's big and it's out in the middle of know where so it's a nice little piece of property, clean and it has lodging right on site.

Q - What didn't you like?

A - It could have been a little less busy for my liking.  We are the types to go to Canada's Wonderland during the week to to avoid line ups.

Q - What about cost/budget at Cedar Point ?

A - It's the same trap everywhere.  You will pay way more chicken fingers and juice than you would normally, but if you do indulge, try the Tofts Ice Cream

Q- Worth the drive ?

A - Ya it was a good 2.5 day trip that was mostly what we were looking to do.

Ant Man and Wasp

Dad;   Kevin P.   Real Estate Agent by day and runner by night.

Father to 1 girl who is 9 years old.

Q - Before I start on the movie, what did you think of the last one?

A- Yes, and truth be told I am a big Paul Rudd fan.

Q - Okay so safe to say you went into seeing this film as someone who was expecting to like it?

A- Yes, and I did.  It was great to see this character again, and I truly think Paul Rudd is one of the most underrated actors of this generation.

Q- Okay, but what about the film as a whole, did your daughter like it?

A - She loved the action, but I am not sure if she got all the subtle jokes.  There was a lot of humour in the film and the action sometimes eclipsed the jokes.

Q- How old do you think a kid should be before seeing this?

A- I'm a Dad and not an expert, but I will tell you that it is loud at times and a little excessive as well, however she and I both loved it.

Ant Man and Wasp is in theatres
