Apple recently dismissed an engineer after his daughter’s iPhone X hands-on video went viral on YouTube

Brooke Amelia Peterson posted a video about her trip to Apple campus to visit her father and also to see an unreleased iPhone X

The clip included footage of an iPhoneX with special employee-only QR codes

It also showed a notes app wherein code names of unreleased Apple products were mentioned

A ‘nobody’ until then, YouTuber Amelia became popular soon after posting the video

The exclusive clip was picked by 9to5Mac and soon, it garnered millions of views on YouTube

Little did she know that her act would land her dad in trouble

Apple sacked her engineer-father for flouting the company rules

Following this, a teary-eyed Amelia posted another vlog wherein she revealed the sad news

The girl claimed, she was unaware that she was flouting the rules by filming the unreleased handset in Apple’s campus

Amelia said that Apple asked her to remove the hands-on video, which she did, but it was too late and the content was viral

Her father apparently took full responsibility for the mistake and was sacked

The engineer worked for Apple nearly for 4 years and was building the iPhone RF and wireless circuit design
